I upgraded from the original version—GEN2 is a huge improvement. The new QD lever is super easy to use, and the overall profile is noticeably more compact. I run it with a G33 magnifier on a Unity height optic and the alignment is dead-on. Flip-to-center works flawlessly.

Solid weapon light for night operations. Floodlight beam is wide and bright—perfect on my short-barrel AR. IPX7 waterproof rating held up during a rainy training day. Dual-fuel system is a big plus when I don’t have time to recharge. Light, compact, and functional.

Mounted to my MK18 with dual CRANE plugs connected to PEQ-15 and a NGAL clone. Love the dual-mode functionality. One issue—cords are a bit stiff in cold weather, but otherwise excellent kit. Would buy again for the price.

I ordered the VCSEL version, Reference: SPC-1449. On this website, it mentions this device comes with a diffuser cap for the IR illuminator and an IR Laser Transparent Protective Cover and a Visible Laser Opaque Protective Cover.
On my unit there is no diffuser cap for the IR illuminator, it's just a plastic cover.
Also, the Transparent Protective Cover completely blocks the IR laser, so if I want to use either function, I must remove both caps. Not ideal.

Also, mine didn't come with the promised 1-year warranty card, but that is a small problem.

The biggest issue I have with my unit is that it seems to be the EEL version and not the VCSEL version which I ordered and is more expensive than the EEL version.
The illuminator has a bright halo right above the hotspot and the hotspot has a petri dish look, which is specific to the EEL version.

Apart from these issues, everything else looks good, the visible green laser is quite strong and the IR laser on both low and high have a long reach and are quite strong even on a moonless night.
