Hello will the red laser hold zero for 45auto?

I received my light, but was expecting the IR version. Please make your selections more clear. I just now found out that the IR version is $30 more. The light itself appears to be of good quality/build. Also, I'm not sure if it takes CR123 batteries. Those batteries may be too big, but I'm unsure.

Amazing quality. Packaging and RDS are indistinguishable from Aimpoint. Very impressive!!!
