SPECPRECISION Releases Color-Matched Cerakoted TAN Mounts for the AMG 1-10X

The AMG 1-10X TAN Setup Finally Looks Right

The AMG 1-10X has always been one of those scopes that looks right the moment you put it on a rifle. The compact body, the aggressive shape, and especially the Cerakoted TAN finish give it a very strong tactical feel.

But honestly, there was always one small thing that bothered us.

The scope looked great, but the mount did not always match.

Most TAN or FDE mounts on the market are made by different brands, different factories, and different coating suppliers. Even when they are all called “TAN” or “FDE,” the actual color can be very different. Some are too yellow. Some are too dark. Some look a little grey. Some look fine indoors, but once you take them outside, the difference becomes very obvious.

For a normal build, maybe that is acceptable. But for the AMG 1-10X, we wanted the setup to look better than that.

FDE and TAN Are Never as Simple as They Look

Black is easy to match. TAN is not.

Anyone who has built tactical gear in FDE or TAN knows this problem. The final color can change because of coating thickness, aluminum surface treatment, material differences, curing temperature, lighting, and production batch. Sometimes even products from the same retail batch can have small color differences.

That is why a “TAN mount” does not always mean it will match a TAN scope.

When the scope body is a beautiful Cerakoted TAN, but the mount is a different shade, the whole setup feels a little unfinished. It still works, of course, but visually it does not feel like one complete optic system.

And for people who care about details, that matters.

So We Made a Matching Mount Setup

To make the AMG 1-10X look more complete, SPECPRECISION custom-made a limited batch of color-matched Cerakoted TAN AUS 34mm mounts and top ACRO-footprint mounts.

Our goal was simple: the scope, the main mount, and the top sight mount should look like they belong together.

This new matching setup includes:

• Color-matched Cerakoted TAN AUS 34mm scope mount
• Color-matched top ACRO-footprint mount
• A more consistent TAN appearance with the AMG 1-10X body
• A cleaner and more complete tactical optic setup
• Limited production quantity

This was not the cheapest way to do it. Custom color matching and small-batch coating cost much more than simply using a standard black mount or a regular FDE mount.

But we still wanted to do it.

Because sometimes, one small detail changes the whole feeling of a build.

The Top ACRO-Footprint Mount Is Also Matching TAN

For this setup, we did not stop at the main AUS mount.

The top ACRO-footprint mount is also finished in the same Cerakoted TAN style. So when the AMG 1-10X, AUS 34mm mount, and top sight mount are installed together, the whole optic package looks cleaner, more balanced, and much more complete.

This is especially nice for L403A1 / KS-1 inspired builds, airsoft training rifles, collector-style setups, or anyone who simply wants their optic system to look right.

It is not just about having a TAN mount.

It is about having the right TAN mount.

Only 100 pcs Available

This color-matched Cerakoted TAN mount batch is limited to only 100 pcs.

Because the cost is higher and the coating process is more complicated, this is not a normal mass-production batch. Once this batch is sold out, availability may be limited.

From now on, when you purchase the AMG 1-10X Cerakoted TAN from SPECPRECISION, it will come with the matching Cerakoted TAN mount setup, including the top ACRO-footprint mount.

Already Have the Scope? You Can Buy the Mount Separately

Of course, not everyone needs a full new AMG 1-10X package. Some users already have the scope and only want to finish the build with the correct matching mount.

So yes, we prepared the AUS Cerakoted TAN 34mm mount as a separate option too.

Same tactical TAN look. Same cleaner setup. A better match for your AMG 1-10X Cerakoted TAN build.
