This prism sight it great but not for the AR. The reticle is clear and easy to get zero set. I would give this 5 stars but the wind and elevation adjustments are 1moa and the eye relief is about 1.5 inches to get a good window.

I have 2 of the J2, the window is clear and the dot is bright on a sunny day. I have it mounted on an open gun. So far it’s been a working great!

It is a lightweight, small 1-8x optic that IMO shines on 5.56 AR15s. I'm sure it can be used on a 308, but being small, it has a tighter eyebox than say the ATACR 1-8 or the Vortex 1-6x. It's simply the way it was made.

The reticle is FFP, if you don't know what the is, do some research. The reticle may not be to your liking but it is absolutely daylight bright like an Aimpoint and at 1x, it's very red dot like in performance.

Personally I returned a 1-6 Razor-E that I was disappointed with and bought the NX8 MOA. Very happy with my decision, but just because I like it doesn't mean everyone will.

The name their name says it all! The scope was milled so perfect this mount hold super tight and incredibly rigid!!

Sighted in quickly, and held after shots.
