Good product, but the Glock mount IS NOT INCLUDED

These are nice but, I ordered the strobe by mistake. Not really bright but, still a good light.

The light its self is amazing! Really well made! The DS07 tail cap appears to be well made also but has an issue on the remote switch side. The remote switch cuts light output in half. Press the button on the tail cap WITH the switch and I get full power. The plug isn’t a tight fit either. The remote plug walks out when firing.
I moved the DS07 cap to other m300 and m600 surefire lights. The issue followed the tail cap.
I can’t complain to much given the price of this combo.
Hopefully Spec Precision can get this fixed.

Bought this light with the DS07 tail cap kit and Unity hot button. The light is really well made! Extremely impressive! However something is off in the DS07 tail cap where the remote switch produces about half the light output. It seems the circuit in the plug side of the DS07 cannot handle the amperage or has poor grounding?
I verified this by moving the DS07 to other SF lights and trying other switches. The issue follows the DS07 cap..
Can’t really complain for the price..
hopefully spec precision can get this fixed?

Despite what the title says, this is not force to overcome, it is a push button which is disappointing.

Other issues is that the bayonet mount it comes with is too shallow to work with USGI J-arms.

The breakaway feature does not work. What the breakaway actually does is allow normal operation of the arm to mount onto and off shrouds. When you slide it to lock it keeps the detachment button from being pressed so you can't take it off the helmet.

The tilt adjustment is ridiculously stiff and requires pliers to adjust.

That said, this is a suable mount. It clicks into 1 hole and 3 hole shrouds with zero play due to the top screw which adjusts fit. There is some vertical wobble in the hinge itself, however this is completely negated when you bungee your NVD. As far as Chinese clones go, this is a far more durable option than the Wilcox clones.

I only give 3 stars because it is not force to overcome, but instead uses the inferor wilcox style push button. The tilt stiffness is a tolerable issue since you won't be adjusting that in the field unless you swap helmets with someone.

This being said, I will be buying more in the future as it is a great cheap dovetail option comparable in price to the USGI RHINO series bought from surplus.
