I've come to really love this optic. The ability to switch between 1X and 4X while on the move is fantastic. The illuminated red dot is awesome too in those low light situations. I was unable to put a magnifier in front of my EO tech so this did the trick. I actually like it better. The optic is very stout and will add some weight to your weapon but it's awesome. Shot this side by side with an ACOGs and I like this optic better. Personal preference.

This is a great 5X magnifier for the price. The eye relief is close but manageable and the eyebox alignment is relatively forgiving. The mount is robust with several options for mounting height to best match your red dot/reflex/holo sight for a good cowitness. I think you would need to spend a LOT more for something incrementally better.
