Integrated Components Night Vision Helmet Mount D-14 Dual PVS-14 Mounting System™ offers an adaptable system that can be configured as a single-tube or dual-tube stereoscopic night vision system. The need for binocular depth perception is particularly acute when operating at night, and users of single-tube PVS-7 or 14 systems are at a significant disadvantage when it comes to effective tactical night movement. IC’s mounting system increases the flexibility and utility of each separate PVS-14 by making it possible to rapidly detach one or both devices from the headgear for use as a weapon-mounted night sight, for handheld use as a surveillance or observation device, and as a force multiplier by distribution to others without night vision devices.

The unique design of the Integrated Components Night Vision Helmet Mount D-14 Dual PVS-14 Mounting System™ also allows one or both devices to be swung up 180 degrees, completely out of the line of sight, without disturbing the eye alignment of the other device, and when the entire assembly is folded back against the helmet the system allows both devices to be folded further back towards the helmet than any other system. This feature decreases the chances of knocking the devices against branches, doorframes or other obstacles as well as keeping the center of gravity of the helmet as far back as possible for operator comfort. The system comes standard with two mounting arms but it can be used with a single PVS-14 on either eye, without anything interfering with the visual field of the opposite eye, and it can be instantly upgraded to a dual-tube system whenever two suitable PVS-14 units are available.

The Integrated Components Night Vision Helmet Mount D-14 Dual PVS-14 Mounting System™  offers redundancy, flexibility and ease of maintenance. Unlike a dedicated PVS-15 system, dual PVS-14s give the user two separate power supplies, decreasing the potential for complete system failure. Ease of replacement and repair are important in the tactical environment because the IC system can be used with any mil standard PVS-14, operators can freely swap, mix and match any suitable PVS-14 in a matter of minutes. When mounted, both devices can be collimated for operator comfort, but is not necessary for use. Moreover, the IC system does not interfere with the installation of the PVS-14 Ultimate Weapon Mount and is compatible with all Wilcox and Norotos dovetail helmet mounts. Now available in bayonet interface! Please note, height adjustment is required. This mount will only work with the Rhino II mount which offers height adjustment. It is not compatible for use with the original Rhino mount.

Do you have a IR Patrol, SkeetIR-X, Pixels on Target VooDoo-S, iRay Rico Micro with Pictail shoe, or other thermal with an attached dovetail? You can now wear it helmet mounted with this mount. Just detach the PVS-14 arms and interface your thermal. Due to different amounts of eye piece projection, you may be unable to run both optics at the same time.
