Sure, it is expensive, but like everything: you get what you pay for. Wilcox helmet mounts are, literally, works of engineering art. They are designed with direct input from US Warfighters at the very tip of the sharp stick. These designs are refined until they reach perfection and are then masterfully crafted in Wilcox’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

The Wilcox G69 helmet mount and shroud with lanyard is a permanently fixed solution that securely locks the NVG onto any helmet drilled with a standard three-hole configuration. The G69 mount provides all the same features as the G66 with greater weight savings and extended vertical travel adjustment.

The Wilcox G69 Mount System is a permanent mount design, developed at the request of special operations units who wanted the lowest profile, lightest weight helmet mount solution.  The G69 does not have a detachable mount .  The entire system is permanently assembled.  It features all the same adjustment ranges found in traditional Wilcox designs, but sits closer to the helmet surface.

Please note that the Wilcox G69 IS NOT compatible with USGI bayonet j-arms. We carry the full line of Wilcox Interface Shoes that will retrofit your NVG system to be compatible with your Wilcox Mount. Wilcox manufacturers an Interface Shoe Adapter for just about every NVG system in use today. Please make sure you have the proper adapter when purchasing a Wilcox Mount.

Regardless of the benefits, we are still asked about the price. Our answer is always this: why would you want to mount your expensive NVG’s on the cheapest mount you can find? Wilcox has and continues to set the bar to which all other mounts are measured.
