Tested this red dot during a rainy weekend at the outdoor range. The IPX7 waterproof rating held up—no fogging, no water seepage. The only thing is the buttons are a little stiff when adjusting brightness with gloves on. Still, the clarity of the 44MOA circle in wet conditions was excellent.
I wanted a lightweight but rugged optic for my CZ P-10 for concealed carry. The Liberty II fits perfectly, and I love that it’s 7075 aluminum, not cheap material like some competitors. The Shake N Wake feature has been 100% reliable — I carry all day, and when I draw during dry fire practice, the dot is instantly on. Took it to the desert last week, lots of dust and heat, and the lens coatings did a great job staying clear. Zero issues so far.
Took the PRD out in -10°C weather for a training day. The optic handled the cold without flickering, and the dot remained clear even with my gloves on adjusting brightness. Dropped it once on frozen ground and it held zero. Only reason for 4 stars is the buttons could be a little bigger for winter gloves.
Used this mount for an 8-hour shooting session with my AR-15. The scope held zero the whole time, even after repeated recoil. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish it had quick-detach for faster optic swaps, but for stability it’s excellent
I bought one of these a couple years ago in 34mm to mount my trijicon 1-8 and I’m very satisfied with it.
