I love this mount did it right. I have a few risers from them already, and the build quality is amazing on all of their products.

This is part of an improvement to my newly purchased AR-15 for attaching a scope to my rifle. I am looking forward to installing it and improving my accuracy.

IS EG VCSEL version* NGAL

Item shipped FAST. There used to be a substantial wait of many months on this unit, but mine was delivered in one week from order. Unit is well made, feels good in the hand, and looks virtually identical to the L3 original. Maybe even better than the original. Power output on visible laser high is underwhelming. Does not compare with other full power units I own from US manufacturers. IR laser is good on low and high. Illuminator is very useable and as bright as full power US units. My unit did NOT ship with included diffuser caps as advertised. I also do not believe my unit is VCSEL, which I selected and paid a bit extra for. I have extensive familiarity with both EEL and VCSEL units, and this unit exhibits features in the illuminator (viewed under high-end dual tube night vision) which are unique to EEL. The tell-tale "petri dish" effect is present, along with the little "amoeba" artifacts in the "petri dish" which should not be present on VCSEL units. Likewise, the outer edge of the illuminator pattern exhibits a sharpness indicative of EEL, not the softer-edged VCSEL pattern. When shifting illuminator divergence from tight to wide (or vice versa) the illuminator will shift position, such that once the illuminator has been zeroed to the aiming laser (laser in center of illumination circle) the laser will appear to move away from the center toward the outer edge of the illumination circle. This is visually displeasing, but the unit can still be used as intended. However, the original units (such as the L3 NGAL or ATPIAL/PEQ-15) do not function in this way. Once the illuminator is zeroed to the aiming laser, it should stay that way despite activating the divergence knob. But not a deal breaker, considering the cost of this unit. Lastly, there is significant refraction/spill of IR light around the laser and illuminator which is annoying and ugly, but does not impact the overall useability of the unit.

Assuming the unit holds up over time, it's a good deal considering the cost of the L3 NGAL and similar units. With a few more updates by IS EG - this will be a superb unit. They're almost there.

This prism sight it great but not for the AR. The reticle is clear and easy to get zero set. I would give this 5 stars but the wind and elevation adjustments are 1moa and the eye relief is about 1.5 inches to get a good window.

I have 2 of the J2, the window is clear and the dot is bright on a sunny day. I have it mounted on an open gun. So far it’s been a working great!
